Portraits from the Netherlands' largest photographic collection
What does Dutch nightclub dancer and alleged spy Mata Hari have in common with Monica Lewinsky? What connects Yoko Ono and John Lennon with the Duke and Duchess of Windsor? The exhibition Face to Face pairs people who at first glance seem to share little in common but nevertheless tell pieces of the same story. Explore a fascinating trove of 100 unique portrait photographs coupled in surprising and thought-provoking juxtapositions, from performers like Elvis Presley and Dutch folk-singer André Hazes to style icons Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe, all brought vividly to life with rare archival documents and audio recordings.
